Middle School Staff

Mayville Middle School is the educational home of approximately 450 students in the third through eighth grades with 73 teachers and support staff.

Guidance Services

Our building opened in August of 1997. What do we like about our school? The classrooms are arranged in groups of four with a central meeting area (pod) connecting them. This organization allows for easy communication between staff and students, as well as a central meeting and work area.

Academic Services

We have wonderful Fine Arts facilities, with three Bands, Chorus, General Music, Theater Arts, and Visual Arts being offered. Our new school also boasts a beautiful Physical Education facility, including a double gym, and multipurpose area. Mayville Middle School contains three science labs, which double as study areas. We have two computer labs with access to the Internet.

Mayville Middle School offers several co-curricular activities and clubs. Seventh and eighth grade students have football, basketball, volleyball, wrestling, and track. We also have a very popular club offered to students in grades 3-8 entitled Earth Club. Additionally we have an active student council, forensics, and Steel Drum band. Mayville Middle School's excellent 6th grade environmental camp program has also been recognized throughout the state.

Mayville Middle School has international connections as well. We are very proud of our relationship with our sister school in Hikari, Japan which started in the early 1990’s. We have had many visits by students and teachers from Japan and our students and teachers have traveled to Japan as well.

As you can see, we have a lot to be proud of at Mayville Middle School.
