Mayville School District’s Technical Education space boasts some new additions made possible by an incredibly generous grant made possible by the Mark G. Sellers Foundation.
Through the grant, our students can now gain valuable, real-life experience on a Haas TL-1 CNC Lathe and a Haas Mini Mill CNC Milling Machine, right at home in our technical education classroom at MHS.
Under the direction of Mr. Seiler, the tech ed department recently completed the setup of new technical education equipment, a project that came together in just under a couple of hours thanks to the generosity and teamwork of several community partners.
A special thank you goes out to Larry and Mike from RCI Engineering for coming to MHS and assisting with the installation of the two new machines. Their time and expertise made a significant difference in ensuring everything was set up quickly and safely. The district also extends its appreciation to Randy Clark, founder and CEO of RCI, for the continued support of the program.
The department also extends its gratitude to Rob Hebert, president and owner of RH Equipment, for providing access to a forklift large enough to handle the job. Without this equipment, the process would have been far more difficult, and the smooth execution of the setup would not have been possible.
The district is also grateful to RH Equipment for another incredibly generous donation of an electric forklift and charger. This contribution will provide long-term value and support for ongoing operations within our tech ed classrooms and our student-led manufacturing business, Mayville Manufacturing.
The Mayville School District sincerely thanks all involved for their generosity and support. These acts of kindness continue to strengthen the district and highlight the power of community collaboration.
