Edyn M. Returns to State in Pole Vault! On 5/26 the Mayville Track & Field Team traveled to Prairie Du Chien for the Division 2 Sectional meet, which turned out to be one of the best sectionals in Wisconsin. Edyn equaled her best effort of the season in the pole vault to earn her 2nd consecutive trip to the State meet in La Crosse on June 3rd and 4th. Coach Berry shared, “I am proud of our whole track team for the way they've improved and worked all season. Many of our athletes will be back next year and we should be very competitive. 6th graders created menus and took 'orders' from our 3rd graders for a real-life lesson in math! 6th graders calculated the bill, including tax, while 3rd graders paid using play money. Our 4th grade students had the wonderful opportunity to work in our school prairie on Monday afternoon. Over 200 new native prairie plants were planted by teachers, students, and family volunteers. The plants were donated from the Horicon Marsh Wildflower Sale. Keep an eye out this summer for the plants in full bloom!
