Mayville High School FBLA Club – Growing Strong & More
The Mayville High School Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) Club is off to an exciting start this school year, with membership on the rise and enthusiasm running high. The popular Cardinal's Nest School Store continues to grow, now offering even more apparel and fun merchandise for students and community members.
FBLA provides students with opportunities for personal growth, leadership development, teamwork, and hands-on experience in business, retail, and customer service. Members also take part in community service projects and competitive events that build real-world skills.
This fall has been busy for the club. During Homecoming week, FBLA hosted an outdoor concession stand, and members recently completed their annual fall leaf-raking project. The executive leadership team also attended the Wisconsin FBLA Fall Leadership Conference in Wisconsin Dells, bringing back fresh ideas and inspiration for the year ahead.
Next up, the club is preparing for its always-popular Kids’ Night Out on Friday, December 5, 2025, from 5–9 p.m. at the elementary school. The event is open to children in 5K–4th grade, and for $15 per child, participants will enjoy a night of food, games, and fun—all supervised by FBLA members.
A brand-new event this year is the First Annual Formal Consignment Sale for students in grades 7–12. The sale will feature formalwear for both men and women—perfect for prom, winter formal, and other special occasions. Items such as dresses, dress shirts, pants, suits, jewelry, purses, belts, suspenders, and ties will be accepted.
Consignment drop-off times are Friday, January 9, 2026 (3:30–6 p.m.), and Saturday, January 10, 2026 (8 a.m.–2 p.m.) at the Mayville Jr./Sr. High School lower-level Cardinal Entrance. The sale will take place January 16–19, 2026, with varied shopping hours. Consignors will receive 60% of the sale price, with 40% benefiting the FBLA Club. All items must be dry cleaned before drop-off.
The Mayville FBLA thanks the community for its continued support and looks forward to another successful year of leadership, service, and learning. For more information, contact Mrs. Pahnke at hpahnke@mayville.k12.wi.us.
